৮০ দশক কে বলা হয় কমিকস্এর স্বর্ণযুগ, আজ কিছু ৮০ দশকের পুরানো কমিকস্ পেলাম কলেজস্ট্রিট এ।যে গুলো ফ্লিপকার্ট ৫০০টাক করে দাম চায়।বিশ্বসাহিত্ত চিত্রকথা,আভিক চিত্রকথ, টারজান কমিকস্, ইত্যাদি। আশা করি তাই কেউ টাকা নষ্ট করবেন না।
মাঝে মধ্যে পুরানো দিনের কিছু টারজান কমিকস পড়তে পেলে ভালো হতো - Russ Mannings-এর লেখা আনন্দমেলায় ধারাবাহিক ভাবে যেগুলো প্রকাশিত হতো...

ReplyDeleteI don't know others but ANY Mandrake story with Magnon/Magna/Centra-Galaxy('Madhya Chayapath') make me crazy!! :D Those are just like super-fantasy filled with thrill and sci-fi elements,together!! We are quite lucky that quite a few such tales were published in Indrajal...(My first Magnon intro was "Bramando Grashi; No.312")
ReplyDeleteVSC was good as I found out....art was by western artists,translation by G.Karmakar!But there were many other unknown publishers from '80s,like Avik/Chitrarath etc etc, produced rubbish comics - and that's the effect of golden era - as they knew their books will sell!!
Anyway,they folded out very quickly...

DeleteThe first Mandrake's story which made me perplexed and spellbound was "IJC#83 - The Incredible Space Menace" - (৬১. 'মহা শুন্যের আতঙ্ক ). That story was so intense and close-to-reality that it sill haunts me down.
DeleteI think it is the first alien story which influenced me to grow my interest in so called 'Ancient Alien Theory', parallel universe, hyperspace and so on... then came damn Erich Von Daniken !!!
