ডিসেম্বরের ১ ,১৯৭২ বেতালের সঙ্গে শকুনের দলের এক ভয়ানক সাক্ষাৎ হয়ে ছিল, এদের সংগঠন ছিল সারা বিশ্বব্যাপী , খুবই আশ্চর্যের বিষয় শকুনের দলের সঙ্গে বেতালের পরবর্তি কালে আর কোন সাক্ষাৎ আমাদের চোখে পড়েনা। আজ সেই গল্পের পুনঃমুদ্রন ব্লগে থাকছে, প্রকাশিত হয়েছিল প্রায় ১৩ বছর পরে ১৭-২৩ নভেম্বর ১৯৮৫।

ReplyDeleteউফ্,একটা দরুন জনিস মনে করিয়ে দিলেন।এটা 19 তম বেতালের গল্প হলেও শকুনির দলের সঙ্গেই সঙ্গর্ষ হোয়ে ছিল । গল্পে শকুনির দলের নেতা স্বীকার করে ছিল যে ওরা যুগে যুগে ছিল । কয়েকশো বছরের পুরনো দল।
DeleteYes, "ভ্যাকুল দূর্গের রহস্য", Bengali IJC No. 319 & 320, but it was an adventure of 19th Phantom, narrated by 21st from the Phantom Chronology. The story was so ingeresting has exeeded level of normal comics. It is appropriate to call a "Graphic Novel".
ReplyDeleteI feel funny when I remember that in childhood I intentionaly called the story as "আকুল দূর্গের রহস্য"।
I request everybody to read Phantom stories "The Ghost Who Died Twice" based on 10th Pantom last days and probably "The Avenger" describes a primary adventure of 1st Phantom, when he was just a novish.
ReplyDeleteThere was a Mandrake weekly strip "3D Monster", firstly introduced us with "Karma", Lother's girlfriend came to USA by Air Africa flight and involved in a crazy case along with Mandrake, Narda & Lother. This story was followed by "The Secret Plot" which is translated as "আন্তর্গোয়েন্দার সন্ধানে" in Bengali (IJC No. 246 in Bengali)
None of the above stories were included in IJC series but all are beautiful. I know you will support me after reading/enjoying.
ম্যানড্রেক প্রেমীরা বাংলায় প্রায় কিছুই পায়নি । ডেইলি ও সানডে স্ট্রিপ যা আছে চিন্তা যায় না । 12 জি বি ডেটা । এক এক টি ট্রি-লজি তে 6 -7টি করে গল্প । ইন্দ্রজলে মাত্র 2-3পেয়ে আমরা সন্তুষ্ঠো ।
DeleteNot only Mandrake, IJC published Phantom Stories majorly on 21st Phantom however Frew & Charlton published his forefathers' adventures. Curiously there were some differences in illustrations too. IJC editions had almost similar get up for past Phantoms except firearms or sword model and hats (8th Phantom used mantle behind his back) but the boot models were similar during more than 400 years. In frews we can notice that a fat fold at top of boots for early Phantoms. Their urban looks were also different according to contemporary years. Mostly in IJC, Phantom's costume does not tear however wounded by bullet/sharp weapons/whips but Frew version very often shows that Phantom's costume is torn by above reasons which is more logical as well as acceptable.
ReplyDeletePlease don't think that I insult IJC. As an Indian, specially a resident of Kolkata by birth, I was introduced with Phantom & other Heros by IJC very firstly. So, I always grateful to IJC.
